Thank you so much for being willing to share your time and unique gifts with the kids and families at Plum Creek. We want the time you spend at Creek Kids to be something you look forward to! We love spending time with you, and the kids do too! Of course, we also understand that sometimes scheduling conflicts happen. Not to worry. We don’t expect perfect attendance…but we really appreciate (pretty) perfect communication!
Here are two ways you can let us know if you have to miss a day:
- Each year (and when you first sign up to serve) we’ll give you a copy of the serving calendar for the entire year. You are assigned to either “A” rotation or “B” rotation. Jot your serving dates down in your calendar when you get it. As you plan out your year (spring break, vacations, Uncle Ted’s 90th birthday…) and become aware of schedule conflicts, contact the Area Pastor/Coordinator as soon as possible so that we can cover your spot.
- In the event of an emergency: (sick happens…we get it!!) If you are sick please stay home! But first please call, text, or email your Service Lead to let them know you can’t make it. (Who knows, they might even bring you chicken soup).
